The Wada Ji Sangha Temple is a place devoted to the meditative chanting for the happiness and spiritual development of all beings. It is open to all irrespective of race, colour, religion, gender, beliefs, culture, or ethnicity. Wada Ji Sangha Temple is created in the Pure Land style of Japanese Buddhism. The central temple is located at the Flame of Hope International Pagoda in the mountains of Nagano, Japan.
The mission of the Wada Ji Sangha Temple North America is to support individuals in receiving and sharing the merit, wisdom, compassion, majestic power and great love of Amida Buddha (Great Spirit of the Universe). We do this through meditative chanting, communication and deep-listening classes, study and practice of Pure Land spiritual development teachings, and volunteer activities which support individuals and communities of people in need both locally and internationally.
