Nembutsu Practices

There are many ways to experience Nembutsu Chanting. What is common to all is the attention that the practitioner gives to their state of heart while chanting. By focusing moment by moment on truly wishing for the happiness and spiritual growth of all beings (including oneself) we can go beyond our 3 dimensional reality and experience a peaceful oneness with life.
The uniqueness of Nembutsu Buddhist chanting also includes vocal and instrumental melodies, drumming, and bowing. Music unifies everyone on a deep level, beyond borders and beyond time. The musical mantras and prayers, and sounds of the bell and drums penetrate into our Buddha nature and unify all beings.
Please contact the Temple at your local centre or branch to learn which of these practices are offered and how you can join.
